Free Printable Student Planner Template

Updated October 8, 2026 · Free · No signup · A4 + US Letter

Student life is three problems wearing one backpack: what is on today, what is due soon, and whether studying actually happened. This student planner template answers all three on one page — a classes-today strip, an assignments-and-deadlines table with checkboxes, and a study log that records minutes, not intentions.

Print a week's worth on Sunday, clip them, and let the page do the remembering so your brain can do the learning. Undated, sage or blush, A4 and US Letter, instant PDF download, free for personal and classroom use.

What's inside

  • Classes today: time / class / room lines for the day's schedule
  • Assignments & deadlines table — done-box, subject, task, due date — seven rows deep
  • A study log with subject, start time, minutes and a focus self-score (1–5)
  • One page per day: the archive becomes a revision map by exam season

How to use it

  1. First week of term: print a month of pages. Rhythm beats motivation in week six.
  2. Each morning, copy today's classes and glance the assignment table for anything due within 48 hours.
  3. New assignment? It goes in the table the moment it is announced. The table is the brain; the backpack is just storage.
  4. Study sessions get logged with minutes and a focus score. Patterns (Tuesdays are useless, library beats bedroom) emerge within a week.

Printing it right

Download the file that matches your paper — US Letter or A4 — and print at 100% scale ("Actual size"), never "fit to page". Both files are drawn for their own paper, so the margins and line spacing land exactly where they should.

Tip: 100–120gsm paper (27–32 lb) stops pens ghosting through — and both colorways print fine in grayscale if you're saving ink. More in the printing guide.

Questions people ask

Is this suitable for high school as well as university?

Yes — the classes strip fits a fixed school timetable as well as a university schedule, and parents of younger students use it as a homework sheet with the study log as reading minutes.

Is there a weekly version?

For a week-at-a-glance, the weekly schedule template carries a class timetable perfectly. This page is the daily workhorse; they pair well.

Can teachers print it for a whole class?

Yes — single-classroom use is explicitly welcome. For a school-wide deployment, a link back here is appreciated; selling or republishing is not allowed.

Does the study log really help?

It is the page's quiet superpower: students who log minutes study more minutes, because "I studied a bit" becomes "45 minutes, focus 3" — a number you can defend or improve.
