Free Printable ADHD-Friendly Daily Planner

Updated October 8, 2026 · Free · No signup · A4 + US Letter

Standard daily planners quietly assume a brain that holds a plan, starts on command and stops on schedule. This ADHD-friendly daily planner is rebuilt from the other direction: empty the head first (brain dump), choose only three things that matter, block a few hours, and end with a done list — written proof, for the days your memory insists you did nothing.

It is a paper companion to the same philosophy as a screen-based planner: same structure, ink instead of pixels. Undated, sage or blush, A4 and US Letter, instant PDF, no signup. (A planning tool, not medical advice.)

What's inside

  • Brain dump box first: seven lined rows to empty the head before organizing it — order is not required
  • Pick 3: three numbered lines, because "everything" is how nothing gets chosen
  • Time blocks with checkboxes: six rows where a start time meets one task
  • Done list at the bottom: the receipt your brain will ask for at 9 PM

How to use it

  1. Dump first, decide second. Write everything in the box — the dishwasher tab, the scary email, the birthday. Getting it out is the point; sorting is not yet the job.
  2. From the dump, pick three. Two is allowed. One is allowed. Zero means today is a rest day and the sheet says so honestly.
  3. Block time only for the picked things. Unticked blocks are data (what actually derails you), not failure.
  4. Fill the done list even on disaster days — especially on disaster days. Dishes done counts. Shower counts.

Printing it right

Download the file that matches your paper — US Letter or A4 — and print at 100% scale ("Actual size"), never "fit to page". Both files are drawn for their own paper, so the margins and line spacing land exactly where they should.

Tip: 100–120gsm paper (27–32 lb) stops pens ghosting through — and both colorways print fine in grayscale if you're saving ink. More in the printing guide.

Questions people ask

Is this a medical or therapy tool?

No. It is a paper planning aid built around how ADHD brains genuinely work, but it is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment — for that, talk to a qualified clinician. This page is for the dishes, not the diagnosis.

Why pick only 3 things?

Because a ten-item list is a decision algorithm your brain will refuse to run. Three is choosable, finishable, and leaves room for the day's actual chaos. Ambition belongs in the goal template, not the daily page.

What is the "done list" for?

ADHD memory rewrites "I did some things" into "I did nothing" overnight. The done list is contemporaneous evidence. Reading it at night is the reward the checklist part of your brain needs.

Can I use it without a diagnosis?

Absolutely — it helps anyone whose days stall on starting, choosing or finishing. No diagnosis required, no disclosure anywhere; it is a printable page, not paperwork.
