Free Printable Monthly Planner Template
Updated October 8, 2026 · Free · No signup · A4 + US Letter
An undated monthly planner template is the only calendar you never have to buy again: print a fresh grid whenever a month starts, number the days yourself, and you are done. This one is a clean Monday-start grid — six rows so even the sprawliest month fits — plus a notes band for the month's big rocks.
Use it as the command layer above the weekly and daily pages: birthdays, bill days, deadlines and trips live here; the week-by-week detail happens lower down the site. Two colorways, both paper sizes, instant download, free for personal use.
What's inside
- A six-row month grid — no month ever needs a seventh-week apology
- Empty day cells with soft borders: number them once, decorate never
- Monday-start day headers (write over them if your brain runs Sunday-start)
- A notes band for the month-level stuff that has no single date yet
How to use it
- At month start: number the days, then transfer the fixed things from last month's page — birthdays, renewals, school events.
- Add the three big outcomes of the month in the notes band. A month that stands for everything stands for nothing.
- Sunday, glance the grid for the week ahead and copy next week's dates onto the weekly schedule.
- End of month: the grid becomes a record. Photograph it before recycling — future-you will want the dates.
Printing it right
Download the file that matches your paper — US Letter or A4 — and print at 100% scale ("Actual size"), never "fit to page". Both files are drawn for their own paper, so the margins and line spacing land exactly where they should.
Tip: 100–120gsm paper (27–32 lb) stops pens ghosting through — and both colorways print fine in grayscale if you're saving ink. More in the printing guide.
Questions people ask
Why undated instead of a dated calendar?
Undated means no leftover stock and no January dependency: print exactly the months you need, in any year. It also means the 31st never arrives printed on the wrong weekday.
Can I start the week on Sunday?
Write your own day headers in the pill row — the grid does not care. A dedicated Sunday-start variant is on the roadmap.
Does the grid handle months that span six weeks?
Yes — six full rows. February in some years needs four; the spare rows become bonus notes space or next-month overflow.
Is there a version with holidays marked?
Not here — holidays differ by country and the page stays universal. Mark yours once when numbering the days; it takes thirty seconds a month.
